With drumrolls, unfurling&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2nd edition of India\u2019s first-ever Fintech Fellowship, <a href=\"https:\/\/decentro.tech\/the-great-indian-fintech-fellowship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Great Indian Fintech Fellowship Program<\/a> for young &amp; aspiring developers!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_the_Fintech_Fellowship_Program\"><\/span>What\u2019s the Fintech Fellowship Program?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After the great response to the first edition of India&#8217;s first-ever Fintech Fellowship, we&#8217;re back with the 2nd edition of Decentro&#8217;s Fintech Fellowship, happening this winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re on the lookout for developers- young college graduates or final-year students who\u2019d like to set foot in the fintech industry and leave their print behind it- a sturdy one at that.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fellowship program spans from Oct 15th \u2013 Dec 15th, over 2 months, and provides young engineers the golden chance to dabble with cutting-edge fintech and banking APIs to solve real-world problems. Applications are open till Oct 10th, 2022. India&#8217;s Fintech adoption rate is at 87%, which is significantly higher than the global average rate of 64%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s immense scope and yet a lot left to accomplish. In July 2022, the UPI network processed 6.28 billion transactions worth Rs 10.63 trillion. This seems small in front of the goal yet to be achieved; a billion daily transactions in the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fellowship program is Decentro\u2019s ambitious effort to identify pain points and resolve them with young minds who wish to be a part of one of the world\u2019s fastest-growing industries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fellows receive a monthly grant of \u20b950,000 per individual\/team.
